HINA doll or HINA NINGYO, a Japanese geisha doll from the late EDO period (1853- 1867).
These girl's dolls came only once a year out of the cabinet on girl's day, a Japanese celebration day on march 3.
The face of the doll is made of eggshells.Height 25 cm
