Besides his work as a teacher (HMC Rotterdam) in cabinetmaking and his work as a cabinetmaker, he also makes furniture objects. For these he uses materials he finds or which find him. Tree branches, parts of end of life furniture en leftover wood are the most important raw materials he uses. He likes to use of branches and the re-use of wood as it makes the design process pleasant unpredictable.

He uses modern glues which sometimes give surprising constructive solutions next to more traditional furniture constructions.

This way of working makes his furniture objects unique and unconventional.
